Amroha News : Car ran over four people including a girl in Amroha, three died

According to the information, Veervati, Aarti, Prachi and a woman who were bringing fodder from the fields near Khayalipur on the National Highway were crossing the highway together. During this, a car hit all four.

A car ran over four women including a girl near Gajraula National Highway 9 Khayalipur. One woman died on the spot while two died during treatment. One remains in critical condition. On receiving the information, the police reached the spot and sent the body for post-mortem.

 

According to the information, Veervati, Aarti, Prachi and a woman who were bringing fodder from the fields near Khayalipur on the National Highway were crossing the highway together. During this, a car hit all four.

 

Vinod, Ajab Singh, Mukesh Kumar and Lakhpat, residents of village Khayalipur of the police station area, belong to the same family. Ajab Singh is Vinod's real nephew. Ajab Singh's 12-year-old daughter Prachi was a student of class five, while Lakhpat's 16-year-old daughter Aarti was studying in class 11. The farms of many villagers including their families are on the side of the highway. Villagers have to cross the highway to go to the farms.

At 2 pm on Friday, Vinod's 45-year-old wife Veervati, his daughter Asha (20) and nephew Ajab Singh's wife Neetu, his daughter Prachi (12), Aarti (16) daughter of Lakhpat, Anshu (10) daughter of Mukesh were returning from the farms with fodder. All were crossing the highway in front of the village. Meanwhile, a speeding car came from the direction of Delhi. It is being told that devotees from Panipat who had come to take bath in Brajghat Ganga were riding in it. According to eyewitnesses, the car driver, while driving fast and carelessly, ran over Veervati, her daughter Asha, granddaughter Prachi and Prachi's mother Neetu, Anshu and Aarti. Due to which all were seriously injured.

The driver who was running away after the accident was caught. Police reached after getting the information. Injured Veervati, Prachi, Neetu and Aarti were brought to CHC, while Anshu and Asha were admitted to a nearby private hospital. Veervati was declared dead at the CHC.

Whereas, Prachi, Neetu, Aarti were referred after seeing their critical condition. Prachi, a class 5 student and Aarti, a class 11 student, died during treatment at the district hospital. The death of three including grandmother and granddaughter has created an uproar in the village.
