Booking for Kylaq was opened by Skoda on 2 December. Talking about delivery, it will start from 27 January. The special thing is that Skoda has announced a limited offer for the first 33,333 customers. Under this offer, 3 years Standard Maintenance Package (SMP) will be available free. Let us tell you that the Kayalak is Skoda Auto India's first sub-4 meter compact SUV. It will compete directly with Tata Nexon, Kia Sonet, Hyundai Venue and Mahindra XUV 3XO.
Lowest maintenance cost
Skoda has also claimed that the maintenance cost of the Kayalak will be the lowest in the sub-4 meter compact SUV. It is Rs 0.24 per kilometer for 5 years to the first 33,333 customers. Kayalak will also have a 'Dream Tour' in India. Under which 3 SUVs will leave the Chakan plant on December 13 and cover about 70 cities in 43 days. After this, they will return to the plant by January 25.
Classic variant sold
The Kayalak has a 1.0-liter TSI engine. It includes 6-speed MT and 6-speed AT torque converter. Skoda claims that the Kayalak can reach a top speed of 188 KMPH in 10.5 seconds. Skoda has said that the entry-level Classic variant of the Kayalak has been sold out. It is no longer available for booking. However, customers can book the variant after 33,333 bookings are completed.

Features like 10.1-inch touchscreen, 8-inch digital driver display, single-pan sunroof, wireless phone charger, 6-way powered front seat with ventilation function, auto AC with rear vents and 6 airbags are available in the Kayalak. Along with this, features like cruise control, push-button and reverse parking camera and sensor have also been specially included.
What is the price?
Talking about the ex-showroom price, Classic MT starts at Rs 7.89 lakh. It has 6 options. Whose ex-showroom price goes up to Rs 14.40 lakh. The ex-showroom price of the Prestige AT model is Rs 14.40 lakh.
