Suzuki Swift fails crash test, gets this much star rating in safety

Suzuki Swift has flopped badly in the Australia NCAP crash test. But it was expected that this car would score good marks in this test. According to Suzuki, the European Swift and Australian Swift come with different safety features. In the NCAP crash test for Australia and New Zealand, the 4th generation Swift scored only 1 star and failed to score the minimum 50% in all testing. In the adult safety test, it scored only 18.88/40 out of 47%. In the child safety test, it scored 29.24/49 out of 59%.

In such a situation, we are expecting that the Swift will also crash because here the matter is of safety.

Dzire gets 5-star safety rating


Maruti Suzuki recently launched its new sedan car design in the market, but the surprising thing came when the report came that the Dzire has achieved an excellent 5 star rating in the crash test of Global NCAP. Dzire is the first car to do this feat. The price of Dzire starts at Rs 6.79 lakh. The new Maruti Dzire is powered by a 1.2-litre petrol engine. This engine generates 82 PS of power and 112 Nm of peak torque. This engine is mated to a 5-manual and 5-automatic transmission. The optional hybrid petrol with its CNG powertrain will only get a 5-speed manual transmission.

The new Dzire gets 6 airbags as standard, apart from this, it has safety features like anti-lock braking system with EBD, 3-point seat belts, Suzuki Heartect Body, ESP, hill hold assist, reverse parking sensor and more.
