नई दिल्ली, 6 अक्टूबर: BMW Motorrad ने 1 अक्टूबर को अपनी नई entry-level naked motorcycle F 450 R से दुनिया के सामने पर्दा उठा दिया है। यह bike BMW की अब तक की सबसे सस्ती naked motorcycle होगी और F 450 GS वाले platform पर बनी है। G 310 R के discontinue होने के बाद यह BMW का नया entry-level roadster बनेगा।
F 450 R में वही 421cc का liquid-cooled parallel-twin engine मिलने की उम्मीद है, जो F 450 GS में करीब 48 hp power और 43 Nm torque देता है। Streetfighter character के हिसाब से इसमें थोड़ा sharper tune मिलने की संभावना है। Bike में steel tubular space frame, 43mm upside-down front fork, aluminium swingarm और 17-inch के cast-aluminium wheels दिए गए हैं। Braking के लिए front में 310mm disc पर Brembo का four-piston caliper और rear में 240mm disc मिलता है। ABS Pro, traction control, engine drag torque control और Rain, Road व Dynamic riding modes standard हैं।
Features की बात करें तो 6.5-inch का TFT display मिलता है, जो calls, music और navigation support करता है। LED lighting और USB-C port standard हैं, जबकि heated grips भी दिए गए हैं। Bike का ready-to-ride weight 175 kg और seat height 790 mm है। Base, Exclusive, M Sport और M Sport with Innovation Package — कुल चार variants होंगे, जिनमें top variant में Easy Ride Clutch जैसी technology मिलेगी।
India launch की official timeline अभी confirm नहीं हुई है, लेकिन reports के मुताबिक bike 2027 की शुरुआत या मध्य तक भारतीय showrooms में आ सकती है। Expected ex-showroom कीमत ₹4.3 लाख से ₹4.6 लाख के बीच बताई जा रही है। India में इसका सीधा मुकाबला Aprilia Tuono 457 और KTM 390 Duke R जैसी bikes से होगा।
